The short version

Play and have fun. You may use the game for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
Play fair. No cheating, hacking or offensive pilot names.
The game is ours. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute it.
It's provided as is. We work hard on it, but we can't promise it will always be perfect.
Your privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Rocket Roadster game and this website (together, the "Game"), provided by VKL Apps ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the Game you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.

2. Your license to play

In short: the game is yours to play, not to resell.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for non-commercial purposes. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or distribute the Game, or use it to build a competing product. You may share screenshots and videos of your gameplay, including on streaming and social platforms.

3. Fair play

In short: be a good sport.

You agree not to: cheat or use bots, exploits or modified versions of the Game; interfere with the Game, its servers or other players; reverse engineer the Game except where the law expressly allows it; or choose pilot names that are offensive, hateful, impersonate others or infringe someone's rights. If online features are enabled, we may remove names, scores or entries that break these rules and suspend access to those features.

4. Content and intellectual property

The Game, including its code, graphics, vehicles, music, sounds, text and the Rocket Roadster name and logo, belongs to VKL Apps or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Some components are used under their own licenses, for example fonts under the SIL Open Font License. These Terms do not give you any ownership rights.

5. Online features

Some features, such as an online leaderboard, may be added, changed or removed at any time. They may depend on internet access and third-party services and may be unavailable from time to time. Rankings are for fun and have no monetary value.

6. Purchases and ads

The Game currently has no in-app purchases and no ads. If that changes, the relevant terms will be shown before you buy anything, and purchases will also be governed by the rules of the app store you use.

7. Updates and availability

We may update the Game to fix bugs, add content or meet legal and platform requirements. Some updates may be needed to keep playing. We may stop offering the Game at any time; if we do, we will try to give reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimer

In short: we do our best, but no software is perfect.

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or that your local records will never be lost. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VKL Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid for it, if any. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Ending these Terms

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. Sections 4, 8, 9 and 12 continue to apply after the Terms end.

11. App store terms

If you got the Game from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and VKL Apps, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Game, its maintenance or support, or any claims relating to it, and has no warranty obligation beyond what the law requires; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of restricted parties. If you got the Game from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your use of the store.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where VKL Apps is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to solve the issue informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will also let you know in the Game. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
